SETTLE THE DUST

This is a podcast made by two young adults for the purpose of capturing the perspectives of young adults in current international affairs. This show is build upon the ideal that finding people with different ideas can cause constructive growth in unity through discussion. 

Tug of War

In the Tug of War segment of the show, the hosts explain a situation that is important or influential and discuss it in detail between multiples ways of thought. This is to provoke a response on the opposing side and spark conversation between different ideals.
 

Switching Sides

Switching Sides is an original podcast segment idea where the people debating oppose their own side by building a counter argument and developing an explanation for the opposing idea. This segment helps build unity by exposing the person to the opponents perspective.
 

Impromptu Argue

Impromptu Argue is an exclusive style of debate where opposing ideas are compared using mainly pathos. This is due to the fact that this segment requires minimal prior research and is based on understanding the core issue.
 

Diverse Debate

Diverse Debate is the classic formal debate. Divided into sections where each side can openly speak and counter/rebuttal the statements in a professional setting. This segment relies on prior research and is based in facts.  

Battle of the Brains

Unlike the previous segments, this segment is not about persuading must agreeing. This is a place to find consensus and reach a middle ground on a specific topic. There needs to be an agreement between numerous people in basic principles to develop solutions to world problems.
